MEET THE PROVIDER
AMANDA GAWELEK FNP-BC
Amanda is an experienced nurse practitioner with board certification in Family Practice. She first started her nursing career in 2005 with an Associate of Nursing Science degree followed by a Bachelor of Nursing Science in 2008. While working full-time, Amanda went on to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing at Saint Francis Medical Center College of Nursing, graduating with honors in 2015. With additional study, Amanda obtained her Full Practice Authority license in 2019.
Amanda’s healthcare experience as a registered nurse includes five years in the cardiovascular step-down unit and six years in the cardiac catheterization lab at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. As a nurse practitioner, Amanda has 7 years experience in treating pain management, functional medicine and regenerative medicine as the Medical Director of Joseph Health Group.
Amanda is dedicated to assisting others in reaching their life wellness goals. “After the loss of my twin brother in 2021, it became apparent to me, more than ever before, that our self-care should take precedence. We have to dive into the depths of our goals in order to begin the journey to obtain them. I want to help people examine their personalized details and devise a tailored plan of success.”
Amanda is the mother of two young children, the wife of a firefighter and dog-lover of three doodles. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, gardening and interior design.
